Although I'm still happy with it - although it's a little pricey - other reviews have suggested some flaws to me. First the positives: I got it mainly as an alternative to tape to fix charging cables where my cats had torn the coating off. This has happened to a select few, so it was easy to use up a whole pack - which is good, as once opened the cure heals whether you use it or not. It was easy to use and a slightly flexible lid was made instead of shredded plastic. It was easy to use. I crumpled it up a bit before applying because it felt a bit grainy straight out of the box but smoothed out nicely. As you can see from the attached photo, I didn't put any extra effort into making the repair look sleek and professional! So far I'm very happy with them. It was MUCH easier to get a good covering for the wires with this than with tape. I had enough jobs to use the whole package, so none of them were lost. Potential Cons: Expiration date is December 2017 for materials I received on April 2, 2017. I have 7 packs left to use! One review suggests keeping it in the fridge, which I will do. In addition, the repair quickly tore and broke with several people. I will edit this review if any of mine do! My guess is that the putty wasn't kneaded before use, which was important to get an evenly smooth texture. But so far I'm very happy with it! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 mainly because it has a short shelf life - I've had 8 months but some people have reported 3 and until you buy it it's impossible to tell.
