The thumb is "fingerless " and always open
The thumb is "fingerless" and the mitten only covers 4 fingers. Keeping all fingers closed in cold weather is not very effective. I would prefer if they have a covered thumb. Don't know why you should cover all fingers except thumb? I do not recommend it and will not buy it again. There is also a dirty black stain on the thumb tip of the right glove.
