I purchased this unit to use with a battery management system for a home lithium ferrophosphate solar battery project. It was only after reading the instructions that I found out that current can ONLY flow from the battery to the load, not from the charger back to the battery on the same wire. Therefore, the only way to charge the battery when using this product is to install a separate charging cable and charger, or build a massive power diode bridge to shunt current around the device and into the battery while charging. It would help if this information was clearly displayed in the online description rather than waiting for it to appear.
