It's not elegant, but it's not ugly either. The screen is not very big, but big enough for comfortable reading. The color is good but not spectacular. Image quality isn't fantastic, but you won't even notice it for most tasks. The refresh rate is low by today's standards, but you won't notice much of what you'll be using it for. The stand is ok but not adjustable. You can mount it on the wall, but the joystick-type control button is on the back. It accepts a VGA or HDMI cable, but only one of them and nothing else. In other words, it's an average and you're paying for the average. We have several Samsung monitors and have never had a problem with them. We expect the same from this monitor, which is used for work programs, mainly word processing and spreadsheets, and is 100% suitable for these tasks. You don't have to pay more for a higher resolution or a faster refresh rate or more input options if you don't use them or benefit from them anyway. I prefer a more adjustable stand but other than that this is a perfectly adequate monitor from a brand I have a lot of experience with and trust.
