Review on πŸ”’ Safeguard Your Valuables On-the-Go with PacSafe Travelsafe Liter Portable Black by Fred Reid

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly what it's meant to be: everyday security

I had to give this thing 5 stars just to respond to some of the bad reviews. It's exactly what it claims to be and what you pay for: a low-cost, lightweight, low-security portable device. It has the security level of a decent bike zipper. It comes with a lightweight but perfectly fitting 3-digit combination lock and TSA-approved key slot. The bag's locking mechanism is simple and reliable. The lock is simple and secure. All of this is as foolproof as such a device could be: set the combination on the lock; Put your belongings (15" laptop with space for passport, cables, wallets, cell phones, etc.); Thread the cable through the locking mechanism with steel beads to select the tightness of the breech. fold the free end of the cable over a suitable solid object; block the lock. Presto. Your belongings are safe from random thieves. To open, proceed in reverse order. No fuss, no mess. Your belongings are not protected from anyone with time or tools. $15 Bolt The cutter destroys the device in seconds. The Injury Scissors Set will get you in your pocket in 5 minutes. This is a fabric bag reinforced with a bike lock cable. This isn't Fort Knox. To the reviewer who had $20,000 worth of stuff stolen, all I can say is, don't put $20,000 worth of stuff in an $80 tote bag. This thing isn't for that. One reviewer who couldn't figure out how to open a 3-digit combination lock and have to close the bag on a pipe in a hotel in Mexico is a lock that requires the user to insert the comb through a traditional 90-degree twist mechanism to open , press it and change the preset code 0-0-0 to another set of numbers, then close the lock. I can only ask if it is safe for you to travel alone. Come on. Take care of it before you leave the house. The lessons were written at the level of the 6th grade. If you can read this review, or even if you don't read this review but can look at the pictures, you can find out in 3 minutes. - To the reviewer who hasn't figured out how to close the bag at the very bottom and therefore can't hide his small valuables, even though if you use the inner, thicker metal bead to close the bag, the hole is smaller than a wedding ring (Yes (I'm sure of that. I put mine in, closed the bag, turned it upside down and shook it. The ring wouldn't come out and my ring was still in when I opened the bag.) All I can say is that I'm wondering whether they can use scissors, not by randomly erasing a digit or two. No rocket science. If you have an intact brain and want a quick basic backup for your low-level valuables, this is for you. If you're brain dead or traveling with heavy valuables, look elsewhere. There's one thing though, if you have $20,000 worth of stuff you need to secure, I can't imagine what a portable safe would look like. It should be easy. So he must be vulnerable. Do the math. Have a good trip, wherever! This article put our minds at ease during a two-week stay with a family in Costa Rica. Just let us know that honest people stay honest. After all, that's what locks are for.
