ATTENTION: FORMULA CHANGED! CAUSES DIGESTION AND SKIN PROBLEMS!

Our 10 year old neutered cat was placed on this food in 2013 after a urinary tract obstruction nearly took his life. We were so glad we found quality food that could help him and he had no problem with it. Until 2019. It first started with inappropriate bowel movements on our beds, which we attributed to behavioral issues due to our extensive travels. Then he would throw up maybe once a week, okay, maybe hairballs or eating too fast. We added canned pumpkin and Miralax to his diet, which seemed to help with his constipation. We bought a slow feeding bowl which helped a little with the vomiting. Then, in early 2020, our beautiful cat developed severe itchy skin to the point of scratching her bald head and behind her ears. We took him to the vet who didn't see the source of the problem but put him on a steroid to reduce the inflammation. It helped for about a week, then everything returned. We pulled our hair out trying to figure out what had changed and kicked ourselves for not being able to help our boy. Then, as we searched for other cat foods and read reviews, it dawned on us that cat food manufacturers change their formulas without warning. (Corn Gluten Meal is now ingredient #1)! We looked for reviews on this food and found another customer who found out. The riddle is solved! We are so excited to have rid our cat of this food and furious that it has been poisoning our cat and making his life miserable for months! And charging more for a poor quality product is absolutely wrong with corporate greed! I'm so sick of pet-profit companies like Purina. How many pets have been harmed by your products? How dare you pretend you care! I hope my review helps other cat owners who are facing similar issues to understand that this is not you and not your cat. It's Purina! The sooner you remove this food from your cat, the better!
