I ordered this fabric to make long curtains for our patio to block out the sun from the south side. The fabric is not as heavy as described after I looked at the roll that was shipped, I noticed that the ends, or edges were not a finished edge. I had to learn how to use a sewing machine presser foot that folds as you sew, after some practice, I got a nice hem. The fabric hangs nicely and has just the right amount of stiffness. So far the sun has not bleached it out and it is holding up well. Make sure if you use grommets that you buy the type that have a short shank because it is a thin fabric. Overall I am very pleased.
