Review on Peerless Claymore Chrome Wall-Mount Kitchen Sink Faucet: Sleek Design & Easy Handling - P299305LF by Aaron Johnson

Looks great, works great, love it.

Fantastic product, valves feel like velvet. The finish is perfect and this faucet works great. I had trouble installing it, but that's not Peerless' fault. Well maybe I could mount it easier if I could get some big nuts with the same threads as the chrome flanges. Using a large nut on a 1/2" NPT nipple that screws into a faucet won't work on a thin stainless steel backplate like mine (see photo). Instead, I reversed these chrome flanges and used them to fasten the faucet to faucet.I had to drill four small hoses into the chrome flanges so I could tighten them with locking ring pliers with angled bits. The sad thing is I had an old faucet with the same threads on its dirty flanges so maybe I would have them can use as nuts to screw the faucet to the sink. Now it's rock solid and I love how this thing works.I thought I paid $177 for this and was pleasantly surprised to see that it was closer $60 lay it's held on with a threaded ring so maybe I can route it with an o-ring to make it tighter I can't understand how easy the buttons work.

Pros
  • Kitchen taps
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
