Review on Cooling Vehicle Electric Adjustable Silent Car & Vehicle Electronics by Shawn Schmidt

Works like a simple car "floor fan " which I used as intended

I would give it 4.5 stars if I could. I was looking for a car floor fan to keep the car floor dry where kids get in and out in winter. It was the best option I could think of. It works for this function. My only minor complaint is that I originally assumed it could rotate almost 180 degrees, so I could turn the fan power down at floor level like a typical floor dryer fan, but the fan rotation is much less, at or just under 90 degrees I would say. However, the fan is so short that the outlet from above doesn't really matter in my application. The benefit of the slight rotation in its design is that the fan's center of gravity is fairly low and it doesn't slide on the ground or tip over during my normal ride. Has two speed settings. It doesn't produce much air on high settings, but it's enough and it's quieter than typical road noise while driving (the fan is fairly quiet). There are two sets of blades, left and right of center (where I believe the engine is) and therefore an air intake is required on either side. The cable is better than I expected, not heavy duty but not flimsy/light either. The connector is at right angles. It looks like the same fan shows up under multiple brands/suppliers at Revain and comes straight from China. The box says it is a Mitchell HX-T301 car fan with specs: 12VDC, <45dB, 13W, 0.6kg.
