This is a great mount especially for some complex monitor models that are not well designed and for some reason don't have VESA mount capability. The monitor itself attaches to the mounting plate with a single screw, which in my case goes into the monitor mount, which usually ends at the base. Even with just one screw, it feels very solid and holds my large 32" monitor in place well. Since the monitor acts as a console, it will wobble a little when your desk moves, but that's not a big deal. Excellent value for money and quality. and the only mount I could find that would allow me to mount my monitor!
