Fortunately, I tested this product before using it. I placed a small piece on the wall where the paint has dried for over 2 years. I rubbed the edges to draw clear lines. I waited about 2 hours and removed the tape. Paint residue that had dried for 2 years was removed from it. I was going to send it back but now I guess I only use it to glue plastic clothes together. I drew the perfect stripes before using painters tape, so I asked for the same brand of art tape and explained my goal; The seller recommended this masking tape instead of the art tape from this question. However, I do not recommend this. I would be very upset if I didn't test this tape and had to paint the entire 14" x 14" room with 4 strips of different colors.
