This product met all my expectations. I need a silencer to drown out the built in fans in my grow room, I don't want my neighbors to bother me or complain about me, anyway this silencer alone on my exhaust reduced the overall noise in the whole room by about 45-50 percent I would say. Definitely do what he says. Vivosun is a great company, I have spent a lot of money buying their products and saved a lot of money, plus all purchases through them have been great for me and they work better than some of the more expensive devices. Overall, Vivosun is a great company to grow on a personal level or on a budget.
