Fantastic indoor/outdoor belay gloves

I originally bought these gloves to protect the flap I had in my palm so I could belay my partner without bandaging the whole arm. I continued to use them for belaying all the time and now they've easily become one of my essential climbing gears for both indoor and outdoor climbing. make it difficult to hold the device when securing it with the line. They're thick enough to protect my palms when setting my partner down, but sensitive enough that I can always feel the rope. My partner is heavier than me and with these gloves I can lower him much more gently and quickly than with my bare hands. They are very durable with leather palms but have nice breathable material. for the back of my hand that keeps sweat off my hands. I also like that they have a hole near the wrist. I attach the brake glove to the carabiner and GriGri strap so I never lose it when climbing indoors. For outdoor climbing, this was a great way to steer clear of pitch-black, dirty ropes and lower your partner more gently. If you balance the edge of the belay device on your finger, the feel of the glove will feel different. However, it was easy to get used to after a few reassurances and it won't stop me from buying another pair if they ever wear out. I'm a woman of average build and bought size XS - it fits perfectly. I have small hands and usually wear a size small for winter gloves etc.
