I bought 4 of these in December 2015. I change them every 3 months to protect my instantaneous water heater. No installation issues, they look great once installed and work great. These 4 were packed in individual plastic wrappers. No label. This last one I ordered was marked "replacement brand" and the "caps" were a different color. "Oooh! We're going to be trendy!" That's what I thought. However. After installing this new filter, a lot of "junk" appeared in the filter housing. 0_0 I think next time I will buy original GE FXHTC. I give 2 stars assuming it will get the job done.
