I LOVE this bag. But I had to make adjustments. The strap hardware comes with this hole (see picture) and the black stripe slides off the hardware VERY easily. Perhaps a design decision was made to more aesthetically remove the bag by "loosening" the strap rather than lifting it over your head, but let me say that's a downside. It's so easy for him to get off. Imagine leaning over a bridge or stepping over a puddle and your hand moves in such a way that the tape comes off. So I sewed a seam over the black stripe as close to the hardware as possible so it would be hard to slip off. I suggest if this bag suits you, do the same. This is truly an amazing bag if not for a BUT.
