I bought these because I felt that other products in the wool sneaker category that I tried had very thin soles; I wanted something heavier but didn't want to pay extra for the Zerogrands as I didn't think I would carry them enough to justify the cost. I had another pair of GoWalks that I really like - I take them on long walks around my neighborhood and usually keep them in my car in case I get caught somewhere without proper shoes and have to do a lot of walking. The price was definitely right, so I gave them a try. The biggest difference from my old GWs is that they are incredibly soft - they feel like snuggly, fluffy slippers! They don't itch, which I'm always afraid of with wool, but that's nothing to worry about. They are very light and have the traditional GoWalk outsole which I liked at first. As for sizing, I'm usually between a 9.5 and 10 depending on the shoe and couldn't remember what size I was. have been in others so i ordered 10 first which was too big in the finger box so i went back and got 9.5 and they are perfect. My only complaint is that I wish they were all black; it's more of a super dark charcoal melange; it's not a deal breaker. I only took them for walking to and from the store and may never take them off again. So comfortable!
