Avoid going to the post office to weigh letters! Also purchased "Gomigle 1g 2g (x2) 5g 10g 20g (x2) total 60g calibration weights, set, 10pcs." (60 grams = 2.1 ounces). Scale and weight matched very well. But I didn't calibrate for 7 pounds, so I can only vouch for the apparent accuracy of the letters. The woman makes trips to church and clubs (on hiatus due to COVID) and regularly wants to know if there is more or less 1 ounce in this letter, flyer or itinerary. .or if the thick envelope sent to boys is over or under a certain weight. The only trick to using the scale is to turn it on and let it set - 0lb 0.0oz BEFORE you put the letter on the scale, otherwise the scale will treat the letter as a tare, i.e. a container into which a "weight object" can be placed (a plastic tray and a letter, not just a letter) (read the instructions or you may be surprised none of your letters weigh anything). It is what it is and it's good for what it does. However, this does not apply to weights over 7 pounds.
