I got tired of having a bunch of different sized trouser hangers in my closet that hung at different heights, so I bought these to replace them. They're not as thick and durable as my heaviest old ones, but they work with khakis, corduroys, and dress pants that I hang (fold jeans instead of hanging). Advantages: 1. The part where the trousers sit is covered to the end; I just had another type of hanger with a hose over the part that held the pants and a separate tip at the end. When removing the trousers from the hanger, the ends are knocked off, so such a durable coating is much better. The open end of the hanger faces you when hanging on the closet rod, so you can take off your pants without removing the hanger from the closet.3. I don't know what the coating is, but it doesn't smell. Cons: I don't see them. Overall I am very happy with the design and price of this product.
