So I didn't dare to order after reading several reviews. But I'm so glad I did! It was packed very tightly so I was a bit worried about how it would look when I unpacked it. It opened up and after crumpling it up a bit I think it looks great. A slightly bumpy rear view, yes, as people have mentioned. However, this is not an indicator of the pillow itself. The pillow and the soft fabric are very soft. Somewhere between a softer airplane pillow and one of those "soft" pliable velor pillows. I love the 3D look on the top of the pillow! Pretty. I can't say how it will wear yet so I don't know if the stitching will rip or not but it seems well made. I think my daughter will love it!
