I bought this cable two months ago to replace the super short cable that Samsung bundled with my new Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. There are two things I look for in a good cable: quality construction and length. This cable appeared to meet both of these conditions. It's double weave for support and 10 feet long. more than enough length. I've usually had success with cables like this for all my phones in the past. Today, however, this cable suddenly stopped working. As always, I wanted to connect my phone to the Samsung Ultra Fast Charging Wall Adapter (the one that came with my phone), but this time I got a message that the connected USB device is not supported. Keep in mind this is a Samsung factory charger that came with my phone directly from Samsung and I have been using this cable to charge my phone since the day I received it. No questions. I work in tech support so I test the cable first. I've unplugged and plugged it back in several times using both ends of the cord in the phone and charger. I restarted my phone. I also used a cable to connect the phone to the Anker fast charger wall adapter. Nothing worked and every time I got the error "connected USB device is not supported". I then tried using a different USB cable (again, Anker if you're interested) to make sure my charger wasn't the problem. When using the Anker cable, the error message did not appear and now my phone charges comfortably at normal super fast charging speed. So I can only conclude that this cable is faulty and I'm sticking with brands I know and trust. go away
