In addition to what other people have already said, these outdoor cables are the least thought through product in the entire Arlo line. For a great, innovative, and smart product like Arlo, and the Pro2 in particular, they come with serious downsides. 1) The cable is short, over 8 feet long and no other lengths are sold. 2) A black wire that doesn't match anything. If there's a row of houses with black siding, black soffits, or black walls, I've missed them. 3) The cord is thick and round. I would say #2 pencil diameter to give an idea. Unlike the aftermarket MFRs, which are white, flat, and come in a variety of lengths, but are no longer Arlo compatible. A round cord cannot be pulled through a door frame, a closed window, etc. 4) Did I mention that it's too short, too black, too thick and too round? Sell the outdoor power supply as soon as possible after the recall of all originals. I've only bought one at the moment as I'm hoping to replace this one and upgrade the rest of my cameras with a better and smarter cable when it becomes available. hp The solar charger is also only available in black with a black bracket and black cables.
