These rose petals were exactly what I wanted for my wedding. You will have to separate them; however, it's not as hard as people make it out to be in these reviews. All you have to do is rub them between your fingers and they come apart. If you're hands are too slick, put some lotion on your hands so they stick to the petals. Separating them is a little time consuming, but you can do it sitting in front of the TV or have some friends over to help. It probably took a few nights in front of the TV to separate them, so just make sure you order them in plenty of time prior to when you need them! They do have a fishy smell; however, it goes away with time. I put them in a good smelling trash bag until the day of my wedding. It's not like people are going to pick up the rose petals off the ground and smell them!
