Review on WC Wicked Cushions Upgraded Replacement Earpads For ATH M50X - Fits Audio Technica M40X / M50XBT / HyperX Cloud &Amp Accessories & Supplies by Brittany Hamilton

Purchased for AudioTechnica ATH-M50s headphones. The original pads were about 5 years old and started to tear and became very stiff and uncomfortable. I also have a relatively new pair of ATH-M50x headphones in the office. I bought these pads to replace the ATH-M50s pads. The fit was perfect. I compared the old pads, the new standard ATH-M50x pads and the Wicket Cushions pads. Obviously the replacement was much better compared to the 5 year old pads. I was more skeptical as to whether they were more comfortable than new standard upholstery. But even compared to them, the Wicked Cushions replacement pads were significantly more comfortable. They're also softer, making them more comfortable for extended wear and conforming better to the contours of the head than standard ear cushions, blocking out more outside noise. This is great for me as I work in an open plan office and use these headphones on airplanes when traveling to reduce cabin noise. I also noticed adequate boost in bass response due to better sealing. I recommend these replacement ear tips to anyone looking to replace old, worn out ear tips, or anyone looking to add a bit more sound isolation to their existing AudioTechnica headphones. I liked them so much compared to the stock pads that I will be replacing my relatively standard new ATH-M50x pads with them.
