Review on Tires Michelin Primacy 3 205/55 R16 91V runFlat by Adam Borkoski ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

A little disappointed, a bad purchase.

A year ago, I purchased this rubber, and even back then, I was disappointed, but I still scored. As I was switching my shoes from their winter tires to their summer tires, I was reminded of the type of noise this rubber's bottom makes. I went to Goodyear Ice Grip 2 during the wintertime. The utter lack of sound is perfect. It feels as though you are floating in the air above the roadway. Not even a whisper was heard. And just to clarify, we're talking about winter tires here, although ones with Velcro instead of spikes. Therefore, the make-up of it ought to be more difficult than summer. When I switched from my winter shoes to my summer shoes, the feeling of spring disappeared almost instantly. I was horrified when I thought back on how loud this Michelin was. I am going to sell.

Pros
  • Maintains a firm grip on the road. Excellent handling.
Cons
  • The reviews of the rubber, as well as its inclusion in the ranking of the softest and quietest rubber, are complete and utter fabrications. To the touch, the rubber tread has the consistency of plastic. Similar to the degree of noise produced by tractor wheels. When traveling on the highway at speeds higher than 90 miles per hour, it is just intolerable because the hum that is produced by the rubber causes the driver's head to begin to suffer.
