I broke my leg a little over a month ago. Eliquis was temporarily prescribed for the formed blood clots. I wanted to make sure that in the event of another emergency, everyone involved in my care would be informed, whether I could inform them myself or not. I bought this particular emergency bracelet because it was cheaper than some of the others, but it still looked good. According to some product reviews, the engraving will fade over time. However, since I don't expect to be using this product for long, price, style, and comfort were more important factors. So far it has done everything I needed to do.
