Phenomenal Support: Backpacks, Bags & Accessories

This backpack is worth the money. hands down I've spent quite a bit of time deciding between this and the Osprey Talon. The Stratos is a little heavier, but the downside is that it offers tremendous spine and back support. That's my highest praise for this backpack. The metal frame and ventilation you get are top notch and well worth the extra bulk and size. Don't do anything smaller/lighter if the mechanics end up putting more stress on your spine. I used it as a backpack while hiking the Cordillera Blanca mountain range in the Peruvian Andes. The only caveat with this backpack is that it may not technically meet carry-on baggage requirements on an airplane. Most airport employees probably won't notice, and I usually put it under the seat in front of me without much trouble; The backpack was sticking out a bit and I'm sure some flight attendants could do a great job if they wanted to, but not that much. I would easily recommend this to friends if they asked me to recommend a backpack. Also, I don't recommend taking less than 34/36 liters.
