Comfortable, just might not hold up very well to wear and tear.

Nice bag, I can put the Tenba BYOB camera insert in it so I have a handy camera bag and enough space for a first aid kit, sunscreen, snacks and water. My only complaint is that the logo is already peeling off on some parts of the bag. I used it for maybe 8 days, not all the time, in Utah/Arizona. I'm a bit disappointed but the logo peeling isn't a big deal but it's still the best value for money. Also note: The Stratos 34 (M/L) will NOT fit under an airplane seat! It is about 2 inches longer to

I highly recommend the Stratos line.

Since I bought this pack I've done 2-3 day hikes and 1 day hike with it. After setting it up, I'm very happy with it. The mesh back panel makes a big difference in how much your back sweats. My previous pack had a solid back and the sweat from my back soaked my t-shirt. The first day I went with this backpack was a hot summer day. I could feel the air rushing past my back, keeping me cool with very little sweat that day. The next two trips took place in cooler weather in the mountains around…

Phenomenal Support: Backpacks, Bags & Accessories

This backpack is worth the money. hands down I've spent quite a bit of time deciding between this and the Osprey Talon. The Stratos is a little heavier, but the downside is that it offers tremendous spine and back support. That's my highest praise for this backpack. The metal frame and ventilation you get are top notch and well worth the extra bulk and size. Don't do anything smaller/lighter if the mechanics end up putting more stress on your spine. I used it as a backpack while hiking the…

Great set and accessories to get the right fit

I bought this S/M size set for my husband as a gift. He is lean but muscular. The backpack was perfect in terms of internal size, strap length, and accessibility of pockets and buckles. However, the straps cut into his neck muscles because the point where they connect to the movable shield is very tight. It was only at the nominal weight (5 pounds?). It would be unbearably busy and on the trail. We tried to set up based on the site by trial and error. Nothing made him comfortable. We even went…

Great practical package. I love the inner frame.

I have an Osprey Daylite pack that I really like, but I was looking for something roomier and with an inner frame that would take the load. I've seen reviews of people complaining about the Stratos 34 backpack being too heavy, but that weight is in the frame and that frame pays for itself by distributing the weight properly. I didn't really notice any weight gain. I chose the Stratos 34 over the 24 because I needed the extra ability to use it for an overnight stay and this has a sleeping bag…
