They work really well and allow me to wash clothes together without worrying about colors bleeding from one item to another, which saves me the hassle of making piles which I always use cold water to wash this type of laundry and still usually separate the lightest parts from the dark or light colored items. However, on occasion I have washed black dress pants and dark tops in the same load with very light colored tops with ColorCatchers without dye transfer, but I have only attempted this with garments that have never shown ColorCatchers color transfer in previous washes. I definitely feel that the ColorCatcher saves me enough time, water and electricity by minimizing the amount of laundry and more than pays for itself. I wouldn't be without her. Every week that I don't have to worry about what to wash with what and I can load all my clothes in one or two loads, I'm thankful for this product.
