***Note: my picture had not provided all the food my toddlers we play with ******My two toddlers (3yrs, 2yrs) needed a new food game and After browsing Revain, I came across this set. Some reviews said they were a different brand and not Kidkraft as pictured. However, I received the Kidkraft set pictured. Before giving it to my kids I tested it and everything seems fine. The plastic is a bit thick and strong. However, there are some foods where the plastic is thinner and more flexible, like corn, hot dogs, eggs, and burger patties. But for the most part, the products are strong. The colors largely match the actual foods and there is a wide range of foods (dairy, vegetables, meat, grains, desserts, etc.). Bottles and boxes (e.g. macaroni and cheese, milk) are also made of plastic. There are no cardboard items in the whole set! This is a huge plus for those with younger children who will rip up any paper-like material in sight. It didn't smell strongly of paint or broken items. I think they will do the job. They don't look too cheap either! I deducted a star (10%) for several items that are thinner and more flexible. So far I think it's been a great purchase, especially for the price and quantity!
