My arms are 15 inches long at the top - used to be a weight lifter - and it's a tight strap on my shoulders. Since I still want to wear them, mostly for warmth, I'm currently stretching them out by having the detergent bottle worn on my upper arm for a week or two. If your shoulders are 13 inches or less, they will feel great. But over 15 inches...don't expect to wear them until you undo the elastic.
