We bought this for our 3 year old son to use on his new Strider 14X balance bike. The color of the helmet matched the color of the motorcycle and its features attracted attention. First of all it's light and the vents keep it cool - my son rides his bike around the whole apartment complex and never complains about being hot or that the helmet is too heavy. He has long curly hair and it never gets tangled in any parts or belt so that's a plus too. The helmet looks like it will cover the head securely and fits perfectly on it. It costs money to have peace of mind knowing your head is safe if you ever fall off your wheel. The Giro measurements on their website were accurate. Feel free to buy this helmet. Highly recommended!
