Review on Joovy 8094 Balloon Stroller Yellow by Michelle Moore

Received a Joovy balloon in exchange for my honest review. The seat converts into a cradle for the smallest of babies or reclines to carry a toddler up to 45 pounds. Unfolding with one hand is quick and easy, and folding back is just as easy. It snaps into place when folded and is fairly compact when folded. Joovy Balloon does a very good job. I got it when my son was just a few days old and after just a few minutes taking it out of the box and attaching the wheels it was ready. My newborn could sit comfortably in a semi-recumbent, almost horizontal position and I really appreciated the opportunity to have him face to face. The seat cushion is the nicest I've seen in a stroller, but the canopy is my favorite feature of the balloon. It closes completely to completely cover baby from head to toe. Since the spring sun threatens my newborn's skin, the hood is a great feature that allows me to relax when I'm out and about. I can seamlessly go from pushing my newborn to pushing my two year old just by adjusting the seat. The basket under the stroller is large, deep and easy to access - a big plus in the world of carrying stuff with children's stuff! There are few complaints. The balloon has a set of fixed wheels and a set of swivel wheels so maneuvering can be difficult when the child is looking at me and the turns need to be wide as this brings the swivel wheels closer to me. I wish it had four swiveling wheels that could be locked. Also, five-point harnesses are difficult to quickly adjust, and since I've used them for both newborns and toddlers, I ended up just keeping them in the larger size. The fabric is washable. I can do a lot with a damp washcloth and it holds up great and stays clean, but machine washing is preferable. Overall, I fully appreciated the Joovy balloon. It is extremely versatile and serves me well with both my infant and toddler. It's incredibly light, the stroller pushes almost effortlessly, it's easy to lift and take out of the car. I was impressed by how well the fabric of the seat and hood is retained and the vibrant color makes for a clean, clean and impressive look. I would recommend the Joovy Balloon if you are looking for a stroller that you can use from birth until the age of four when children eventually reach their weight limit. It doesn't have a lot of frills for the price, but you couldn't and wouldn't hold a stroller that light. However, it serves well and offers enough to have everything you need for a stroller.
