To be honest I was afraid to even use it, I bought it brand new direct from a company (at least that's what the seller's name says here) that does. no third party and it looks like an outdated used container. The top was plastic but even the part it comes from doesn't look clean or like a new product, rather disappointed. I've heard a lot about it and I was amazed. It could still be a great product but I won't try it on the lips in the packaging it came in
