
Installed in my 2006 crv. Not just hitting the hole but setting it up with a ball joint press went in with very little effort. I thought it might be in my head so I finished the install and when I lowered the car back to the ground the ball joint popped out of the knuckle again. Either the ball joints are out of spec or the Moog is poorly designed. At the very least, they should be redesigned to use the locking ring as a backup. Since they're on sale right now, I'd say that if you install them, they should be considered a ticking time bomb. Very dangerous opportunities without a retaining ring.
