This is a countertop for a large table. The fan is powerful and I used it a good meter away from me and it was still a nice breeze. Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the cooling. I'm in a good area for swamp coolers (West Coast) but the pump doesn't work and as far as I can tell has never worked. (The electronics are extremely simple and delicate. The display sometimes doesn't match what it's doing, but it certainly has nothing but a water level sensor. It looks like a float valve built with a hall effect transducer. .and no requirement Control or pump status.) I unplugged the pump and tested it on the stand. Dead. I have a replacement order. Have soaked the wood shavings (or whatever they use in it) and am waiting for the predicted hot day to see how effective the basic concept is.)
