. This is a solid product that I see many uses for beyond what I bought it for, as a cell phone and GPS mount in my husband's SUV and on his bike. We used it on a 3 day trip and it worked well. I've been looking for a good phone holder and I don't like the dash mount/rest, air vents and suction cup mounts. It seemed like a great option. For me, a short person, having it attached to the visor wouldn't affect my vision, but my husband felt it was affecting his vision, so he improvised and attached it to a cigarette lighter adapter for our Garmin GPS, and it worked fine , although we fell out the fork twice during our trip on sharp turns. If there was an extension bar that would allow the clip to go lower when attached to the mirror, that might solve my husband's problem. There were no instructions for this, but it was easy to guess that there is a small piece of metal that extends the distance of the clamp from the holder. In general, I liked the soap, I do not regret the purchase.
