I'm a big fan of outdoor activities and I hate mosquitoes. I can always get a garment with insect repellent in the fabric I am in. I saw this scarf and thought the camouflage print looked like it was out there. The fabric looks good as a scarf, but the reason why it is chosen is not for the looks, but for the function - mosquito repellent fabric. It's important to note that bug repellent doesn't last forever, they advertise it will last around 70 washes. Can't rate it as it's only been washed once, but so far so good. He camped and had no problem with mosquitoes. In my experience with insect repellent fabric, just having 1 piece of repellent clothing is not enough, so you should also have pants, a shirt and a hat. I've seen a lot more crazy prices for this type of outdoor stuff so this seems like good value for money.
