Works perfectly. Broken Old Light Bulb

When I was trying to find a replacement bulb for the light bulb above the stove, under the microwave, I had I don't do many things. My Aman technique. The old bulb only said "KEI 125V 40W". I assume that according to the manufacturer means 125 volts and 40 watts. From what I've read I think it's an E17 shape/size. Apparently the lamp size is pretty standard for a range of microwave ovens as well as fridge lights. I installed this lamp above my stovetop under the microwave and it worked great. I was afraid that because it's an LED it might not take on the different brightness settings or might not fit in the space allotted, but it worked. It gets lighter and darker as I cycle through the row on the oven light button. There's a decent amount of light too. I like that I bought the daylight option. And the light is only 8W instead of 40W. It's also nice that you get two pears instead of one. I'll mention one more thing for anyone who is facing the same problem as me. My old lightbulb that I replaced with this LED broke inside the fixture. Because the light is at the back of the oven and away from you, it's almost impossible to stick a tool into the space to remove a stuck metal base. Tongs with needles, potatoes or the like didn't work. Here's how I solved this problem and I think it worked pretty well. First I unplugged the microwave in the cabinet above the microwave. You don't want to get electrocuted, so make sure there's no electricity. The second thing I did was remove the metal lid underneath the microwave. I put all the screws in a bowl so I don't lose them. Removing the lid under the microwave makes the light more accessible. Mine had two screws holding the lamp to the frame. I removed these screws. By removing the screws, you can remove the lamp from the frame and turn it towards you. I left the wiring connected. This allowed me to easily access the fixture and remove the old bulb base with needle nose pliers. Then I put the lamp back on, then the lid. Then I installed a new bulb. Then I put the cover back on. Finally, I plugged the microwave back in and tested it. Works perfectly.

Pros
  • 💡 WIDE APPLICATION - CRI≥80ra, represents the color of the object vividly and clearly; Upgraded IC + LED chips, avoid visible flicker, ideal for home lighting e.g.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
