This lamp looks beautiful. Don't be fooled by the fact that it's not wood, it's metal, but it looks just like wood. I was wondering where all the cable goes, but that's not a problem as it's a hollow base and all the brackets and cables go there. There are 2 length screws. Choose a shorter one so that it fits snugly against the ceiling. We've got it in a trailer, in a moving object, and we've never had a problem with a chain popping out. You will not. (as mentioned in another review) In case you are replacing it in the trailer you will need an ON/OFF button. I just dismantled the on/off switch of an old lamp. Then drill a small hole in the metal base of this lamp and screw the ON/OFF button back in place. It couldn't be easier, ANYONE can do it. So do not worry.
