So I 'rescued' a cat that was abandoned on the street by a woman who had moved out and didn't seem able or willing to take the cat with her. She was such a friendly cat that I expected I'd have trouble adjusting when I took her in, but I ended up kicking her out of the house because she jumped on my teacup poodle, which weighed only 4.5 pounds , with claws and teeth, just hanging on. beat her (the poodle had no teeth). I could probably handle her indoors if that was ONLY the case, but this cat refused to use the litter box and poops wherever she wanted. So now she's my street cat. I feed her, she is in my fenced yard, has a covered bed on the porch, but she cannot enter the house. My dear poodle passed away, but I have another little pup, Morkie, who will eventually be about the same size as my sweet little poodle girl. So I keep the puppy in this screen door and the cat outside. I don't have a storm door and this helps me air the house but also protects the pup from insects. I love that it looks like a double zip tent and looks very durable. I can get one for my tailgate too!
