Otherwise it would be a bit of a disappointment. Takes a lot of battery juice.

I bought this for my child's room as a night light. We use rechargeable batteries otherwise it would be a bit of a disappointment. It takes a LOT of battery to work (batteries last about eight hours and then fade to zero), the heads don't light up, and the plastic is a bit flimsy so light leaks through the stitch line in places. My kids love them, otherwise we would probably return them.
