At this point it seems like about half of the things in this package work. The main part that does not work properly is the splitter, specifically one of the two connectors. One connector successfully passes all 4 signals, so when tested the LED strip lights up white, but for some reason the second connector only passes current for blue, and therefore any strip connected to that connection will only show blue colors. I tried different strips and extensions to make sure it was a splitter and not something else. Unfortunately I had to order splitters from another brand to solve this problem. However, this solved the problem. These clips are not very secure on their own, especially with thicker LED strips; It's annoying to get them to make contact with the leads and then clamp them without the strip moving. And any weight will eventually pinch them out. But a little thin tape will help. I expected that. Whether they send a signal or not depends on whether they hit or not. I had to try several times before I found a clip that worked successfully and it's very difficult to troubleshoot whether it's my fault or the clips' fault. Looking at how I've managed to get things working by replacing parts with others, I imagine the problem is inconsistent quality and those parts aren't tested individually. The upside of this package is that it's cheap, no soldering, and gives you a little bit of everything for a small project. But it is better to buy the parts you need directly. For example I didn't end up needing 8 LED strip jumpers, but I did need a few more than the 2 4 pin sockets with bare connectors that came with this pack. I didn't really know what I would need until I tried to post everything. I think a better all-round package would expand the selection a bit.
