I have several pairs of good quality shoes. Since I have to walk a lot for work, they have set up a shoe voucher program in the interest of the employees' foot health. However, they are all laced up and take a minute to put on. I wanted to quickly put on a pair to go diving outside, water the plants or help my wife get stuff out of the car. I bought a pair in my size and they were too small. My feet are wide and I knew they could get into trouble because of that. I sent them back and, taking the step that many people with wide feet take, bought a size up. Now they are wide enough but too long. Well they do what I bought them for, not running a marathon in them!
