This small, black, traveler's notebook is excellent. The price compared to other brands is outstanding. The leather is of good quality and finished in a manner that will allow the cover to take on it's own character. It also comes with a dotted notebook insert which has thick paper suitable for fountain pens, rollerballs and gel pens. This notebook is a wonderful choice for anyone in need of a traveler's notebook or for anyone looking to give a nice gift to a friend or loved one. They will always remember who gave it to them.Update: I enjoy the black model so much that after six months of daily pocket carry I also purchased another in dark brown, for those times when I want to match my attire. The dark brown version will show scratches as a light brown marking but you need only rub them with your fingers in order to bring back the dark brown coloring. All that said, these notebooks are GREAT and I highly recommend them!
