I used it in combination with a climbing harness to test stability before the upcoming hike. Using the smallest device in hopes of keeping the center of gravity closer to the shoulder still allows for excessive walking motion. I've tried adjusting the gimbal settings but haven't found enough tweaks yet to reduce the amount of movement in the video. I've tried adjusting the mount up and down and I've also tried tightening the velcro, but to no great extent. The only way to compensate for this movement is to hold the mount against your shoulder with one hand to get stable video. This defeats the purpose of buying a shoulder mount. I attached it directly to a non-gimbal mount and the stability dropped significantly. I made further adjustments to the backpack but could not improve the stability. Not recommended when image stabilization is required.
