I haven't bought any binoculars for years. I bought them to put on a golf cart that I drive around the farm. They are lightweight and come with a nice carry case. I love the front lens caps that attach to the binoculars, making them handy and almost impossible to lose. The rear lens caps are attached but detach. I don't know what the night vision function is. I've tried them at night and I can't say they increase the light. They come with a strap that you can use.
