Review on 🔪 Rada Cutlery Knives Gift Set - Stainless Steel Blades & Black Steel Resin Handles, Set of 7, 11 1/4 Inches by Lischelle Ward

Rada knives are great!

I was looking for knives for my wife as she has practically NO decent knives. I researched a lot about different knives and wanted to buy her a good brand of knives. I looked at all the big Henckels, Shun, RH Forschner, Wüsthof, Global, etc. I even checked out a few deals I found on Ginsu (insert here the jibes and laughter of the pros at the overly commercialized knife brand :-).) I'm not saying these knives are bad anyway, each ticks all the boxes a different purpose and every person (and their hand) is different, which is why these brands have been around for so long. I had to think of my wife. She dislikes spending $400 on a set of knives that she has to ship (or take somewhere) to have them properly maintained/sharpened, and often doesn't want to waste her time washing her hands after cooking. Knife. Well, my mother (and the mothers of several other colleagues) have carried Rada knives for most of their lives and swear by them. The biggest problem I have are the handles. I didn't really take care of them myself. Then I discovered they have a new black composite handle specifically designed to be dishwasher safe. It was PERFECT for what my wife wanted. I bought this with a RADA sharpener and every time it feels like it's losing its sharpness. I've run it over the sharpener a few times and it's like new. I know they aren't on the same level as the big professional brands but the value for our home outweighs anything else I've looked at. I would recommend this to any professional or not. Who doesn't need knives that can be washed in the dishwasher every once in a while? :-)
