It may be "thin ", but it helps soften the surface you're sitting on a lot!
This saved me! I consciously went with the thinnest gel pad I could find and that was it. My chair is excellent except the seat is stretched mesh and extremely uncomfortable when working overtime. Ergonomics are built into my chair and the cushion that raised me more than an inch didn't work with the backrest. This one was PERFECT and I am very happy with the relief I got from the thinnest gel pad I could find. Highly recommended.
