My son is skinny so I took him down one size as recommended. I bought 4t. It's approaching his birthday, but likely won't last long past his 5th birthday. The shirt was very wide and of normal length, but shrunk when washed according to the instructions. It fit wide and short. I'm afraid if I bought a 5T it would be very wide. Interestingly, screen printed shirts are often very baggy and cropped and don't have the same classic look as regular fit shirts. If 7 ate 9 had gone to a different shirt company and used the same screen prints, they would have benefited from increased sales.
