I only write reviews when something is either extremely disappointing or overwhelming. This float is definitely the last one. I've had backyard pools my entire life. Every spring I plan to buy new floats. I live in Pennsylvania so the pool closes every September and reopens in May. After summer use and subsequent winter storage without heating in the pool shed, most swimmers drop out every spring. This is characterized by the fact that it has been actively used since the summer of 2016. So it's been 4 long hot summers and 4 very cold winters but he's still in great shape. Of course, the blue color has clearly faded, but no cracks, scuffs or wear spots were found. If that's not enough, you usually have to top up the air throughout the bathing season, but not this time. I inflate in the spring and deflate for storage in the fall. Refueling was never necessary. This speaks volumes about the quality of the product and its value. I've had it for 4 years and it saved me 4 replacement costs so it's about $175. If this float ever breaks down I would be very happy to buy it again. You will not be disappointed.
